Position Statement

All IT Projects must deliver frequent business value.

Implications

* Projects do not exist in isolation.

* You need to reduce waste at every stage of the development process.

* Agile development techniques work best.

* You need to build relationships between the developers and the business.

* An Agile Business Coach is a change agent  for delivering business value.

Papers

* The Agile Business Coach  (PDF format)
Draft paper posted for peer review. We intend to add a whole collection of related articles over the coming weeks. It's very much a brain dump and should considered as an early working draft!

* Business Value Driven Development  (PDF format)
Draft paper posted for peer review. This discusses using business value models to focus the development teams on what is most important for the business.

* Negative Feedback: Encouraging the "Right Stuff"  (PDF format)
A new paper from Chris Matts.

We welcome your feedback.
